Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi representing Aniocha North State Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, has expressed sadness over the unfortunate death of his colleague and Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Tim Owhefere.
Nwaobi said it was a trying time for the entire membership of the House, insisting that Delta State and the PDP had indeed lost a capable, well experienced and foremost lawmaker.
According to him in a Statement personally signed, “I am still shocked that Tim is no more. And that goes to every other member of the House of Assembly.
“We were all bonded as a family and have always attended to our duties in the best interest of the State.
“Hon. Tim Owhefere was always a perfect team player; and of course, in his capacity as the Majority Leader, he had a lot to do for proper coordination of the House. And, trust his sagacity and savvy, with which he had always embodied the legislative excellence of the House.
“It’s unfortunate death. We will continue to miss him until that last moment of each and every one of us. He was a true jolly good fellow”, Nwaobi stated.
Meanwhile, the lawmaker is asking God to be the only consolation the family of Hon. Tim Owhefere would need at this trying moment.
He also sends his condolence message to the family of the deceased, the people of Isoko North Constituency, the PDP and the entire Deltans over the sudden demise of the Majority Leader of the State Assembly, Hon. Tim Owhefere.
