The Honourable Member representing Aniocha North State Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Emeka Emmanuel Nwaobi is pained by the death of Chief Arthur Okorie Okowa, a man he regarded as his own father.

In a Statement personally signed by the vibrant lawmaker, he expressed sadness that a man he had looked up to as a bridge of absence of his biological father is no more.

He stated that Pa Okowa was not just a man he grew up to know as his father’s best friend, but a sound teacher and disciplinarian whose fatherly care and advice had helped in molding him up in life.

Hon. Nwaobi has therefore, left his solace in the hand of God as the creator of life and one who decides the end of life.

Moreover, he prayed to God to grant the State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, his siblings, Owa community and the entire Deltans the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.

According to him, “I will continue to miss the quality times I spent with him; and of course, I will not forget to cherish his impeccable advice and support to me all these years, especially in my political journey”, Nwaobi stated.
