The immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON, has been commended by the Management of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Anti–Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) Unit at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA), Abuja, for his support towards strengthening the unit’s operations.
The commendation followed Elumelu’s donation of eight (8) executive chairs valued at One Million Four Hundred and Forty Thousand Naira (₦1,440,000), made on December 23, 2025, to the AML/CFT Unit at NAIA.
The donation, according to the unit, was aimed at enhancing smooth operations and improving the quality of service delivery at the international airport.
In an appreciation letter signed by the Staff Officer, AML/CFT (NAIA), KS Ugboaja, the management described Elumelu’s gesture as generous and impactful, noting that the donated items would significantly aid the unit in carrying out its critical mandate.
The management further expressed gratitude for the former lawmaker’s continued support, describing his generosity as incomparable, while offering prayers for God’s blessings upon him.
The letter also extended goodwill messages to the Nigeria Customs Service and the AML/CFT Unit at NAIA, reaffirming their commitment to effective service delivery and national security.
