The Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government, Hon Kevin Okwechime has hailed the nomination and approval of the Conferment of the National Honours award on the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Mohammedu Buhari, GCFR.
According to a statement by the Executive Chairman, on Tuesday October 4, 2022, Okwechime expressed the joy of the Government and people of Aniocha North for the Honour and said that it is an Honour well merited by the Minority Leader.
Okwechime described Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu who represents Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives as a distinguished son and leader who has continued to contribute immensely to the Nigeria project.
The Council Boss, noted Elumelu’s overwhelming strides in the National Assembly and siad that the People of Aniocha/Oshimili and particularly Aniocha North are greatly excited by the National Honour being a resounding National commendation to a Man who has demonstrated great passion for the upliftment of the well-being of the people.
“Our great Leader, Sir, I sincerely rejoice and congratulate you, on behalf of the Government and People of Aniocha North on this great approval by Mr President for you to be conferred with this great National Honour, in the rank of the Order of the Niger (OON).
