The Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government in Delta State, Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye, has taken delivery of three Peugeot 407 security vehicles donated by Mr. Dumebi Kachikwu, an illustrious son of the area.
The donation is in response to Hon. Chinye’s call for well-meaning individuals and organizations to support the Local Government’s efforts in fighting crime and criminal elements.
Hon. Chinye expressed gratitude to Mr. Kachikwu and revealed that the local government would also be receiving an ambulance and 20 motorcycles from Mr Kachikwu to further support the fight against crime.
He appreciated Mr. Kachikwu’s commitment to the area’s development and prayed for his family, particularly his mother, Chief Barrister Ada Josephine Kachikwu, whom he described as a loving and caring mother.
The council boss reiterated his call on sons and daughters of the Local Government Area to join forces with his administration in eradicating all forms of crime, even as he assured that his administration, in conjunction with security agencies, traditional rulers, and community development unions, would remain committed to bringing about a secured Local Government Area in line with his administration’s MORE GAINS mantra.
