Rt. Hon Ndudi Elumelu-led Main Planning Committee for the Taraba State International Investment Summit (TARAVEST) has visited some Traditional Rulers in Taraba State ahead of the crucial Summit.
The Committee on Monday visited the Palaces of His Royal Majesty, Augustine Njenmang Venkan II, King of Kono and His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Abbas Kjidua Tafida,OFR, Emir of Muri as well as met other Royal fathers in the State to solicit their blessings for the success of the summit.
Taraba State International Investment Summit (TARAVEST), which aims at promoting and showcasing the rich economic potentials of the State, has been scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 in Jalingo, Taraba State.
The visit to traditional rulers underscores the importance the State Governor, Dr Agbu kafas attaches to the Traditional Institution in partnering investors for an economically strong and viable State.
During the visits and meetings, Elumelu briefed the royal fathers on the Committees preparations towards a successful Investment Summit and highlighted the State Governor’s efforts in ensuring a worthwhile international Investment Summit that will benefit the entire segment of the State Economy.
In their response, the Royal fathers praised the State Governor for coming up with the idea of the Summit and assured that they would be ready to mobilize their various communities to work in partnership with the State Government as well as potential investors in improving the economic base of the State.
They congratulated and thanked Hon. Elumelu and members of the Committees for their commitment towards the success of the event
The traditional rulers also assured that they would be physically present at the summit with a view to supporting in the success of the event.
Elumelu also led the Committee to inspect work on the TY Danjuma House road extension, one of the critical roads to be used during the Summit.
