Immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON, has extended his warm congratulations to his brother, Tony Elumelu, Chairman of United Bank for Africa (UBA), on the national honor conferred upon him by the Government and President of Gabon.
In a statement on Tuesday Hon. Elumelu described the honor as a testimony of Tony Elumelu’s outstanding leadership and contributions to the African continent’s economic development.
Hon. Elumelu noted that the recognition is a reflection of Tony Elumelu’s commitment to economic growth and development in Africa through his philanthropic efforts and business leadership.
The former Minority Leader also commended the President of Gabon for recognizing Tony Elumelu’s contributions, which he said would further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Nigeria and Gabon.
The renowned Politician and Federal Lawmaker also in the statement, celebrated Tony Elumelu and said that the entire Elumelu family and indeed Nigerians will continue to be proud of him for his passion in bringing about a better society globally.
