The Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Bazim Chinye, has extended a warm invitation to the general public to attend the official commissioning ceremony of the Issele-Uku Modern Market.
The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 9 am prompt at the market premises.
The modern market boasts an impressive array of facilities, including 141 lockup shops, 575 open stalls, a big warehouse, and an abattoir that houses 44 meat sellers.
It also has a mini bank cash service, 16 toilet facilities, administrative block, omu office, garages for vehicles and trucks, sections for tomatoes and pepper grinders as well as other amenities.
Her Excellency, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, Wife of the Governor of Delta State, has graciously accepted to be the Special Guest of Honour and will formally commission the project.
The event promises to be a grand affaire, with the Obi of Issele-Uku, His Royal Majesty Agbogidi Obi Nduka, MNSE, JP, gracing the occasion as the Royal Father of the Day.
The ceremony is part of Hon Emmanuel Chinye led Administration’s efforts in the Local Government to rebuild Aniocha North for M.O.R.E G.A.I.N.S with Renewed Hope.
It is geared towards celebrating a milestone achievement in the development of Aniocha North Local Government Area.
