Dr. Awele Vivien Elumelu is the wife of Tony Elumelu, the elder brother of Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu.
The former Minority Leader who holds Dr. Vivien Elumelu in very high esteem, described her as an embodiment of humility and intellectual capacity, noting that she is “indeed a gift to humanity, beacon of strength and source of joy, not only to her husband and children, but also to the entire Elumelu family and millions of people across the world
The renowned politician and accomplished federal lawmaker praised the sister-in-law’s business acumen, highlighting her success as a businesswoman who continues to be a transformer through her philanthropic activities.
He commended her leadership and dedication to advancing access to quality healthcare in Nigeria and beyond especially through her work at Avon Healthcare Limited as well as her commitment to empowering women and children through her philanthropic work.
