The immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON, has felicitated the former Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, on his 66th birthday anniversary.
In a statement on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 Elumelu lauded Okowa as an “excellent administrator, democrat and people-oriented leader” who continues to display exceptional wisdom and experience in handling affairs, not only in Delta State but also in Nigeria as a whole.
Elumelu praised Okowa’s commitment to humanity, describing his life as a “demonstration of humility, sincerity and commitment” in service to God and humanity

“Your innumerable developmental strides as Governor of Delta State continues to benefit and bring peace, progress, unity, and stability to our people. Also, your contributions in the Nigerian Senate and the National Assembly in general remain outstanding and unmatched” Elumelu said.
While congratulating the former Governor on behalf of the entire Elumelu family, the people of Delta State, and particularly the people of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, the renowned federal lawmaker and politician prayed for Okowa’s good health, happiness, and many more years of fruitful life.
