Delta State lawmakers paid a courtesy visit to former Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, at his residence to celebrate his 66th birthday.
The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor , led the delegation of lawmakers to felicitate with the former governor.
In his remarks, the Speaker extolled Dr. Okowa for his exemplary leadership, statesmanship, and enduring contributions to the development of Delta State and Nigeria at large.
He described Okowa as a mentor and visionary leader whose legacy continues to shape the progress of the state, even after leaving office.
The visit was marked by warm interactions, goodwill messages, and prayers for continued good health and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
Other members of the Assembly present during the visit also took turns to express their admiration and appreciation for the former governor’s role in nurturing political leadership in the state.
