The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State has commended Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited for its outstanding contributions to safeguarding Nigeria’s critical oil assets and combating illegal oil bunkering in the Niger Delta region.
The party’s state leadership, under Chairman Elder Omeni Sobotie, praised Tantita Security’s dedication and professionalism, which they noted, aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E. Agenda.
In a statement on Saturday, July 12, 2025, by the State APC Publicity Secretary, Barrister Valentine Onojeghuo, the Party highlighted the efforts of Tantita Security Services in reducing oil theft, saying that the company’s strategic intelligence gathering, proactive surveillance, and community engagement have drastically curtailed crude oil theft, securing vital pipelines and boosting Nigeria’s daily oil production output.
The APC in the State also commended Tantita Security Services for their youth empowerment efforts. They affirmed the company to have created jobs for thousands of local youths, providing meaningful employment opportunities and stimulating local economies and maintained that the initiative has reduced youth restiveness, militancy, and cultism in the region.
Delta APC also noted that Tantita’s operations, equip youths with practical skills in surveillance, intelligence gathering, marine operations, and community security, enhancing their future employability and entrepreneurial prospects.

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta State, under the chairmanship of Elder Omeni Sobotie, wholeheartedly commends Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited for its outstanding and patriotic contributions towards safeguarding Nigeria’s critical oil assets, combating illegal oil bunkering and addressing the nagging issues of youth unemployment and restiveness in the Niger Delta region, particularly in Delta State.
It is with deep appreciation that we acknowledge the exemplary leadership of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), whose vision, courage and operational expertise have repositioned the fight against oil theft to yield verifiable results. Tantita Security has, through strategic intelligence gathering, proactive surveillance and community engagement, drastically curtailed crude oil theft, secured vital pipelines and significantly boosted Nigeria’s daily oil production output. These achievements are not only commendable but also critical to stabilizing and strengthening our national economy at a time when increased revenue is needed to drive developmental programs.
Delta APC notes with satisfaction that Tantita Security’s dedication and professionalism align seamlessly with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes national security, economic revitalization and infrastructural advancement across all sectors. Similarly, their operational efficiency complements the developmental blueprint of Governor Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, whose administration continues to emphasize peace, security and inclusive sustainable growth within Delta State through the masterful implementation of the M.O.R.E. Agenda principles.
Beyond securing national assets, Tantita Security has continued to address the critical issues of youth unemployment and restiveness in the Niger Delta by creating jobs for our teeming youth population. By directly engaging thousands of local youths in various security, surveillance and community liaison operations, Tantita provides meaningful and legitimate employment opportunities that divert young people from illegal activities and crime. This has drastically reduced youth restiveness, militancy, cultism and other vices that once threatened peace and stability in our region.
Furthermore, these employment opportunities have stimulated local economies, as salaries earned are spent within host communities, boosting small businesses and household livelihoods. Tantita’s operations also equip youths with practical skills in surveillance, intelligence gathering, marine operations and community security- skills that enhance their future employability or entrepreneurial prospects. This inclusive approach fosters a sense of ownership, responsibility and pride, repositioning youths as protectors of national wealth rather than agents of its sabotage.
Undoubtedly, the visible reduction in oil bunkering activities has restored hope to host communities, increased Federal and State earnings and repositioned the Niger Delta as a region of peace, productivity and strategic national importance. As we look ahead to the 2027 general elections, Delta APC affirms that the exceptional performance of Tantita Security in both security and youth empowerment will continue to bolster public confidence in our Party’s capacity to deliver on its electoral promises of security, economic prosperity, and sustainable development.
The reasonable inference to be drawn here, is that our communities benefiting from these meaningful employment opportunities and improved security are more likely to trust and support a political party that prioritizes their welfare. This provides Delta APC with a strategic electoral advantage, as a peaceful, engaged and economically active youth population becomes an invaluable asset, mobilizing their peers and families to support our Party’s candidates and programs.
We, therefore call on all stakeholders-including traditional rulers, community leaders, youths, opinion molders, private sector actors and security agencies- to remain supportive of Tantita Security’s patriotic mandate. Protecting our national assets is a collective responsibility and the successes recorded so far must be sustained through unity, vigilance and synergy among all key players.
