One Year in Office: We’ve Made Significant Progress in Rebuilding Aniocha North – Hon. Emma Chinye …Leads Administration To Appreciates God In Thanksgiving Service

The Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government, Delta State, Hon. Emmanuel Bazim Chinye, has affirmed the significant progress made by his administration in rebuilding the Local Government Area within one year. He vowed to continue with the vision to rebuild unhindered.

Hon. Chinye spoke on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service marking his administration’s one-year anniversary.

The service was held at the newly completed and furnished Aniocha North Local Government NULGE Event Centre in Issele-Uku, which was formally inaugurated by the Executive Chairman and renamed Comrade Collins Ogwugwua NULGE Event Centre.

Hon. Chinye attributed his administration’s impact to a clear-guided vision to rebuild Aniocha North. “As we formally commission the Aniocha North NULGE Event Centre, we come together to express our heartfelt thanks to the Lord God Almighty for His unwavering love and blessings that have guided us thus far,” he said.

“Guided by a clear vision to transform Aniocha North, our administration has adopted the G.A.I.N.S mantra, a strategic framework built on the State Government’s M.O.R.E Agenda,” Hon. Chinye explained and said, “By aligning our efforts with this agenda, we have been able to amplify its impact, creating M.O.R.E G.A.I.N.S with RENEWED HOPE for Ndi Aniocha North.”

The Council boss listed over 40 verifiable projects, activities, programs, and actions of his administration within a period of one year that cut across all sectors of the economy and located in various communities. “These are just a few of the many projects we have completed or initiated. I am proud to say that we have made significant progress in rebuilding Aniocha North, and we are committed to continuing our work,” he said.

Hon. Chinye expressed gratitude to the state governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwore, for his support and guidance. He also appreciated Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for his mentorship and leadership and expressed his gratitude to notable indigenes of Aniocha North who partnered his administration in achieving success within the past year.

“To my dear Wife and Children, I am grateful for your love and support. To my vice Chairman, I am proud of your commitment to our vision. To the Leader and Hon members of Aniocha North Local Government Legislative Arm, I appreciate your cordial relationship and support and to my Cabinet Members, we are grateful for your loyalty and dedication to the Vision.

“To the NULGE Chairman and the entire Body of workers in this Council, we are grateful for your assistance in delivering our mandate. To all our political leaders, respected Royal Majesties, the Clergy, and indeed, Ndi Aniocha North, we thank you immensely for giving us the mandate and support.

“Above all, we give all thanks and ascribe all glory to the Lord God Almighty.

“The journey is still far, the work is still enormous, but the VISION is very much ALIVE and CLEAR. We pledge to be relentless in our resolve to continue translating the vision to rebuild Aniocha North into reality,” Hon. Chinye concluded.

The Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service featured vibrant and consecrated praise and worship, officiated by over 30 ministers, including Gospel Music Ministers who led the congregation in fervent praise and worship to the Lord God Almighty, expressing gratitude for His exceptional goodness to Hon. Emmanuel Bazim Chinye led administration over the past year.

In his brief exhortation, Special Guest Minister Rev. Barr. Leonard Azomani emphasized the significance of serving God and humanity. He outlined the qualities of a builder, describing Hon. Emmanuel Chinye as a divinely ordained leader tasked with delivering, repairing, and restoring Aniocha North Local Government Area to an enviable position in the comity of Local Government Areas, not only in Delta State, but Nigeria in general.

Royal Fathers and notable Political leaders were also in attendance at the Service.
