The Immediate past Minority leader of the House of Representatives, Rt.Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON has described the adoption of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as sole candidates for the 2027 presidential and governorship election by the Delta State Stakeholders as well deserved.
Elumelu disclosed this while speaking with newsmen at the meeting that took place on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Government House, Asaba.
The renowned federal lawmaker emphasized that a vote of confidence in Mr President and Governor Oborevwori was a reward for their giant strides in all sectors since they assumed office in 2023.
Elumelu said the meeting was timely pointing out that with the peace that has returned among old and new APC members in the state,no other party can withstand the party in subsequent elections.
He congratulated the President and Governor Oborevwori for providing leadership and for championing peace,unity and all round development.
The prominent political leader called on APC members and leaders to shun acts capable of creating division in the party pointing out that with a united front,the party will remain on top in the country.
