DELTA LGSC INAUGURATES COMMITTEE ON EXTENDED INTERVIEW FOR ASCON CANDIDATES

The Delta State Local Government Service Commission has inaugurated an eleven-man committee to oversee the extended interview for candidates who have written and passed the ASCON Public Service Examination for the year, 2025.

The Committee which is made up of seasoned politicians and technocrats with proven integrity has Arch. Anslem Nwokeyem as the Chairman, Princess (Dame)Minnie Igbrude, Chief Philomena Ededey, Mrs Chidinma Omoghene Idao, Mr.Tienajerha .O. Adibor, Mrs Elizabeth Ojefia and Mr Augustine Idoge as members. While Mr Augustine Akaeze is the Secretary, Mrs Chukwudumebi Nwamu is the recorder with Mrs Mercy Mordi as the Assistant Recorder.

While inaugurating the Committee, the Commission Chairman Hon Pst Joseph Otirhue charged the Committee to conduct an extended interview for the inter-cadre transfer of officers to the administrative Officer, legislative Officer and Accountant Cadres in the Unified Local Government Service of the Delta State.

The committee is to recommend successful candidates to the Commission for the final inter-cadre transfer.

While charging the committee to be objective and diligent in the discharge of their duties in order to justify the confidence reposed in them, Otirhue implored them to ensure that the extended interview is conducted and concluded in due time.

In his acceptance speech, the Chairman of the committee, Arch. Anslem Nwokeyem appreciated the Commission for finding them worthy of the task he therefore promised that, the committee will carry out their duties diligently without fear or favour. He assured the Commission that they will work assiduously to conduct and conclude the task in due time.
