The Anioma Delta Baptist Conference of the Nigerian Baptist Convention has announced plans to host its 12th Annual Conference in Session with the theme, “Entering into Newness: Manifesting the Fruit and Gift of the Holy Spirit,” bringing together thousands of Baptist faithful from across Delta North Senatorial District.
According to a statement issued by the Conference Public Relations Officer, Deacon Chijioke Williams Ugbolue, the four-day spiritual gathering will hold from Thursday, February 19 to Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Zion Baptist Cathedral, Umuaja, in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, located along the Ekuku-Agbor/Umutu Road.
The annual session, which is expected to attract over 5,000 delegates from various Baptist churches, will feature the President and Spiritual Leader of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, the Rev’d Dr. Israel Adelani Akanji.
It will be presided over by the President and Spiritual Leader of Anioma Delta Baptist Conference, Rev’d Dr. Dike Godspower Utih, under the chairmanship of Rev’d Dr. Monday Opone.

Activities for the annual session will commence daily at 10 a.m., with delegates expected to complete registration through their various Associations ahead of the event.
In addition to the general sessions, several organizations within the conference — including the Men’s Missionary Union (MMU), Women’s Missionary Union (WMU), Youth Fellowship, Pastors’ Fellowship, Pastors’ Wives Fellowship, Deacons Fellowship, Royal Ambassadors, Lydia Auxiliary, Girls Auxiliary and Sunbeam Band — will hold specialized meetings between February 19 and 20 at designated venues arranged by the Conference Planning Committee.
The organizers also disclosed that affordable hotel accommodations have been secured within Umuaja and neighbouring Umutu to ease the stay of visiting delegates.
Conference President and Spiritual Leader, Rev’d Dr. Dike Godspower Utih, urged all Associations, Moderators and Pastors within the conference to intensify mobilization efforts and encourage members to pray and prepare spiritually for a successful and impactful annual gathering.
The Anioma Delta Baptist Conference annual session is regarded as one of the largest faith-based assemblies within the region, serving as a platform for spiritual renewal, leadership development and fellowship among Baptist congregations.
