Immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu OON, has extended warm felicitations to the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Chief Monday Onyeme, on the occasion of his 61st birthday anniversary.
In a goodwill message on Monday March 29, 2026, Elumelu expressed gratitude to God for Onyeme’s life, describing him as a dependable leader whose contributions continue to impact positively on the lives of Deltans, particularly the less privileged.
He noted that the Deputy Governor has remained a steadfast, loyal, and trusted partner to the Governor of Delta State, demonstrating unwavering allegiance and commitment in supporting and advancing the Governor’s vision and policies for the sustained development of the state.
Elumelu commended Onyeme’s humility, dedication, and commitment to public service, stressing that his role in fostering peace, unity, and stability in Delta State remains invaluable.
The former Minority Leader further applauded Onyeme’s sustained philanthropic outreach, noting that his generosity and compassion have continued to bring relief and hope to many individuals and communities.
“Your leadership disposition, humility, and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Delta State stand you out as a worthy partner in governance. Your contributions to peace, unity, and the welfare of our people remain commendable,” Elumelu stated.
He added, “As you celebrate your 61st birthday anniversary, I heartily rejoice with you on behalf of my family, Political Associates and the good people of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency. It is our prayer that God grants you more fruitful years in good health and greater strength to continue your service to humanity.”
Elumelu also wished the Deputy Governor continued divine guidance, long life, and renewed vigour in the discharge of his duties to the state and its people.
