The appointment of a renowned politician and accomplished businesswoman, Mrs Dorothy Udeh by the Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as his Special Assistant on Women Development has continued to receive commendation from the people of Aniocha North.
Speaking in a chat with cshowcasenews.com on Tuesday, Chief Mike Mgbanwa, a chieftain of PDP in Aniocha North Local Government Area described the appointment as well deserved, saying that Mrs Udeh contributed immensely to the overwhelming victories recorded by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP during the 2015 and 2019 general elections in Aniocha North Local Government area.
Mgbanwa who is a businessman based in Lagos said that Mrs Udeh has remained a critical factor in the political mobilization of women in Aniocha North, noting that her appointment could be seen as a political appointment based on merit.
“Mrs Dorothy Udeh’s appointment, to me is the one of the best appointment so far made by His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State in Aniocha North. We were all involved in the elections and I can attest to the fact that she worked extensively for the victories of the candidates of the PDP through her massive mobilization of Women, even men, in Aniocha North. Her appointment I can say is well deserved, merited and justify,” Chief Mgbanwa posited.
Speaking also with cshowcasenews.com on her appointment, Mrs Dorothy Udeh who is the immediate past PDP Woman Leader in Aniocha North Local Government Area expressed her profound appreciation to the Governor of the State for finding her worthy to be appointed as a special assistant in his administration.
Mrs Udeh assured that her appointment is another opportunity to continue to strive for the political, economic and social development of the women of Delta State in consonance with the Stronger Delta agenda of the Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration.
