A prominent political leader and respected member of the Delta State Advisory and Elders Council, Chief Nkem Okwuofu (Agunwanyi), has extended warm and heartfelt congratulations to the First Lady and Wife of the Governor of Delta State, Her Excellency, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, on the occasion of her 56th birthday anniversary, celebrated today, Thursday, February 5, 2026.
Chief Okwuofu described the First Lady as a beloved daughter, noting that she has continued to demonstrate uncommon strength of character, grace, and selfless commitment in her noble role as a mother to all Deltans.
The elder stateswoman expressed profound gratitude to Almighty God for His mercy, protection, and sustenance over the life of the Governor’s wife, while praying for continued divine guidance and blessings upon her.
In her words, Chief Okwuofu said:
“My beloved daughter, you have continued to impress not only me, but Deltans as a whole by your exceptional humility, compassion, and kindness to humanity, particularly to children, persons with special needs, and the less privileged through the *You Matter Charity Foundation*, your pet project.”
Chief Okwuofu, who hails from Aniocha North Local Government Area, further expressed her personal joy, as well as that of leaders and the entire people of Aniocha North, over the First Lady’s decision to celebrate her birthday with children, persons with special needs, and the less privileged in Aniocha North Local Government Area. She described the gesture as uncommon, heart-warming, and deeply gladdening to the people.
The revered elder also commended the First Lady for her unwavering dedication and steadfast support to her husband, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State. She noted that as a precious gift to her husband, Deaconess Oborevwori has remained a constant source of strength, encouragement, and succor, contributing significantly to the peace of mind and remarkable milestones being achieved by the Governor for the good of the state.
On behalf of her children, the entire people of Aniocha North Local Government Area, and Deltans at large, Chief Nkem Okwuofu prayed for the First Lady, wishing her sound health, renewed strength, divine wisdom, and many more happy and fulfilled years in service to God and humanity
