Representatives of the Aniocha/Oshimili College of Youths have paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Governmen, Hon. Emmanuel Bazim Chinye, at his office in Issele-Uku, the headquarters of the Local Government, where he reaffirmed his administration’s strong commitment to youth development and inclusive governance.

Receiving the youth leaders on Monday, January 26, 2026, Hon. Chinye expressed appreciation for the visit, describing it as a demonstration of mutual respect, unity, and the growing synergy between the local government and the youth constituency across Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency.
The visit, which was brief but colourful, provided an opportunity for the youths to appreciate the Executive Chairman for his sustained support to youth initiatives over the years. In recognition of his contributions, the youth leaders honoured Hon. Chinye with the traditional Anioma attire (akwa-ocha) and presented him with an appreciation card, accompanied by prayers for continued success and divine favour in his life.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Secretary of Delta North College of Youths, Comrade Raymond Omesiete; the Secretary of Aniocha/Oshimili College of Youths, Engr. Ideh Yobo; the Aniocha North Youth Committee Chairman, Hon. Richard Anonyei; and other representatives from sister local governments, commended Hon. Chinye for his youth-friendly disposition and deliberate policies aimed at empowering young people and promoting youth development.
In his response, the Executive Chairman thanked the youths for the honour and their prayers, noting that his administration recognizes youths as critical stakeholders in governance and development. He particularly commended the College of Youths for the level of organisation and unity they have achieved by bringing youths from different local governments under one umbrella.
Hon. Chinye also applauded the youths for affirming their support for the government of the day and urged them to sustain their constructive engagement in nation-building. He reiterated the need for continued support for the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Governor of Delta State, and the All Progressives Congress (APC), stressing that sustained synergy remains key to delivering meaningful development to the people.
The Executive Chairman emphasized that the vision of his administration to rebuild Aniocha North places premium value on youth innovation, participation, and development as essential drivers for grassroots progress. According to him, empowering the youths is central to achieving “more gains with renewed hope” for the people of Aniocha North.
Also present at the meeting to receive the youth leaders were the Vice Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government, Hon. Nneka Clara Dibia, and other members of the Local Government Executive Council.
