Elumelu Celebrates Delta First Lady, Tobore Oborevwori, at 56, Hails Her Motherly Strength and Compassion

The Minority Leader of the 9th House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON, has congratulated Her Excellency, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, First Lady and wife of the Governor of Delta State, on the occasion of her 56th birthday anniversary, thanking God for the gift of her life and her impactful years of service to the State and humanity.

In a goodwill message on Thursday February 5, 2026, Elumelu described the First Lady as a humble, resilient and compassionate woman with a heart of gold, noting that she has continued to distinguish herself as a dependable wife and mother with unparallel love, duty and commitment to her husband, children and all Deltans.

“On behalf of my beloved wife, our children, the entire Elumelu family and the good people of Aniocha /Oshimili Federal Constituency, I joyfully congratulate Her Excellency, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, on her 56th birthday. We thank Almighty God for adding another glorious year to her life and for His grace upon her,” Elumelu said.

He commended the First Lady for her untiring support to her husband, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, describing her as a guiding star and a strong pillar behind the Governor’s grassroots-oriented and impactful governance.

“Her Excellency’s motherly role, wisdom and quiet strength have remained invaluable to His Excellency, the Governor. Her support and counsel have no doubt contributed significantly to the excellent performance and human-focused policies we are witnessing under this administration,” he added.

Elumelu further applauded the First Lady’s dedication to humanitarian causes, particularly her passion for children with autism and special needs through her “You Matter Charity Foundation”, which he said has continued to restore dignity, hope and smiles to many vulnerable families across Delta State.

He also praised her strong support for the Renewed Hope Initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, noting that her alignment with these programmes underscores her commitment to national development, social welfare and inclusive growth.

According to Elumelu, Deaconess Oborevwori’s contributions to the health care sector, promotion of inclusivity, education and social development remain remarkable and deserving of commendation, as they reflect her deep compassion for humanity and her resolve to uplift the less privileged.

The former Minority Leader expressed particular joy over the First Lady’s choice of Aniocha North Local Government Area for the celebration of her birthday, describing it as an honour and a gesture that further endeared her to the people.

“We are deeply honoured by Her Excellency’s choice of Aniocha North to celebrate her birthday. This singular gesture means a lot to our people and will remain cherished,” he stated.
