The immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON, has congratulated Chief Solomon Arenyeka on his election as the Delta State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Elumelu, in a statement made available to journalists, praised Arenyeka’s maturity and readiness to foster unity and progress within the party, expressing confidence in his capacity to reposition and strengthen the APC in Delta State.
He commended the Itsekiri-born political leader for his wealth of experience in party administration and leadership, noting that his longstanding involvement in grassroots mobilization and party organization has equipped him with the strategic insight needed to build a formidable and cohesive party structure in the state.
The former Minority Leader further acknowledged Arenyeka’s contributions to the political development of Delta State, emphasizing his service in various capacities that have positively impacted governance and strengthened democratic ideals.
“On behalf of my family and my political associates, I extend my warmest congratulations to Chief Solomon Arenyeka on his emergence as the Delta State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress,” Elumelu stated.
He described Arenyeka as a seasoned politician and bridge-builder whose leadership would foster inclusiveness, unity, and renewed hope within the party across the three senatorial districts of the state.
Elumelu also congratulated other newly elected officials of the party in Delta State, urging them to work collectively towards building an inclusive and people-oriented party that will continue to win elections in the state.
He commended the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his commitment to party unity and inclusiveness, and appreciated him for ensuring what he described as one of the most successful and well-organized APC State Congresses ever conducted in the state.
Elumelu wished the new APC Chairman and the entire newly elected officials wisdom, strength, and good health as they assume the responsibility of leading the party to greater heights in Delta State and beyond.
