The newly elected and inaugurated Delta State Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Chief Barr. Krees Njiokwuemeni, was on Tuesday accorded a warm and dignified reception in Asaba following his emergence into the State Executive Committee of the party.
The reception, hosted by the Aniocha North APC Organising Secretary, Hon. Emmanuel Ikenwa, was held at the prestigious Nelrose Hotel in the Delta State capital. The event attracted party leaders, stakeholders and loyalists from Aniocha North Local Government Area.
Among dignitaries in attendance were the owner of Nelrose Hotel and prominent APC chieftain, Prince Uzoma Idabor; former Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government and Executive Assistant to the State Governor on Political Matters, Hon. Dr. Jaunty Okwudi; and the APC Chairman of Ward 5, Issele-Mkpitime/Issele-Asagba, Prince Obi Okolie.
Also present were the Councillor representing ward 20 Issele-Mkpitime in the Legislative Arm of Aniocha North Local Government; Hon. Emeke Chiabua, Supervisor for Works and Housing in Aniocha North Local Government, Comrade Chuks Ugbo, and the Supervisor for Community, Education, Sports and Youth Development, Hon. Frank Isiekwanemgbu.
Ward-level party executives equally graced the occasion, including the APC Ward 5 Vice Chairman; Franca Obunwa, Secretary; Engr. John Emeyazia, Woman Leader; Chief Mrs. Cynthia Unoma Nwaobi Udah, the Youth Leader and the APC Ward 9 (Ugbodu/Ukwu-Nzu) Woman Leader; Hon. Mrs. Marian Igbokwe. Princess Buchi Nwulu was also in attendance.
The Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Cshowcasenews.com, an online Newspaper, Deacon Williams Chijioke Ugbolue, added media presence to the gathering.
In his remarks, Barr. Njiokwuemeni expressed profound appreciation to the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, as well as party leaders and members of the APC across the state, for finding him worthy to serve as the State Legal Adviser. He assured that he would work harmoniously with the State Party Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, and other members of the State Executive Committee to further strengthen the party and advance its fortunes in Delta State.
The former Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly also commended the leadership and members of the party in Aniocha North for their steadfast support.
He paid a special tribute to Hon. Emmanuel Ikenwa for his loyalty, dedication and unwavering commitment to the APC, describing him as a dependable political son whose steadfastness continues to inspire confidence and pride.
Earlier, Hon. Ikenwa, speaking on behalf of his family and the APC family in Ward 5, congratulated Barr. Njiokwuemeni on his consensus election and inauguration as Delta State APC Legal Adviser. He noted that the reception was organised to celebrate his achievement and to reaffirm their total support and unalloyed loyalty to his leadership in his new capacity.
