The Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government, Delta State, Hon. Emmanuel Bazim Chinye, has extended warm New Year greetings to the people of the Local Government Area, expressing gratitude to God for the grace and mercy that made it possible for the people to witness the year 2026.
In his New Year message, Hon. Chinye thanked God for His divine guidance and protection throughout the past year, noting that 2025 was a period marked by resilience, unity and steady progress across the Council Area.
The Chairman specially appreciated the people of Aniocha North for their untiring support, cooperation and trust in his administration, which he said greatly contributed to the successes recorded so far. He noted that much has been achieved in the vision of rebuilding Aniocha North, with visible and impactful projects that have continued to benefit communities across the entire Local Government Area.
According to the Council Boss, the achievements recorded were in line with his administration’s development blueprint, anchored on the More Gains with Renewed Hope mantra, which focuses on people-oriented programmes and sustainable grassroots development. He reaffirmed his commitment to doing more in the new year to further advance his administration’s vision of rebuilding Aniocha North.
Hon. Chinye commended the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, for his commitment to good governance and purposeful leadership through the MORE Agenda With Renewed Hope, describing the governor’s support as instrumental to development at the grassroots level.
He also expressed deep appreciation to the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, for his mentorship, leadership and unwavering commitment to the welfare and progress of the people of the state.
The Chairman called on the people of Aniocha North to remain steadfast in their support for the APC-led Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the Renewed Hope Agenda has continued to inspire confidence and renewed faith in the nation’s economic growth and development.
He further commended members of the Legislative Arm, the Executive Council, Management and staff of the Aniocha North Local Government for their dedication, loyalty and commitment to duty, describing their collective efforts as instrumental to the successful translation of the administration’s vision into reality.
Hon. Chinye prayed for a more prosperous, peaceful and fulfilling year for the people of Aniocha North Local Government Area, expressing optimism that 2026 would usher in greater progress, unity and development.
