Osakwe Commends NIPR Delta Members for Productive 2025, Reaffirms Commitment to Nation-Building

The Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Delta State Chapter, Mr. Godfrey C. Osakwe, fnipr, fciism, has commended members of the Institute for what he described as a productive and impactful 2025, while reaffirming the body’s commitment to national development and positive narrative building.

In a Special Appreciation message issued to mark the conclusion of the year’s activities on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, Mr. Osakwe thanked God for His grace and expressed heartfelt appreciation to certified public relations professionals in Delta State and across Nigeria. He noted that their dedication, professionalism and shared sense of purpose made the year “truly worthwhile.”

The NIPR Delta Chairman specifically applauded members in the Warri axis for their excellent organisation and successful hosting of the End-of-Year Meeting, describing the effort as a clear demonstration of the strength of unity and teamwork within the Institute.

Mr. Osakwe also extended special appreciation to the Management of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) for its support, particularly for making its facility available for the engagement, which he said contributed immensely to the success of the event.

Reaffirming the relevance of the public relations profession in the nation’s current socio-political landscape, the Chairman stressed the need for practitioners to remain committed to professionalism, collaboration and synergy.

According to him, NIPR members must continue to work with other well-meaning Nigerians to reshape narratives and positively redirect the trajectory of the country.

The Special Appreciation message served as a rallying call for members to sustain high professional standards and renewed commitment as they look forward to the challenges and opportunities of the new year.
