President Bola Tinubu has extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Awele Vivien Elumelu, Chairperson of Avon Healthcare Limited, on her 55th birthday.
According to a statement from the Presidency on Monday June 23, 2025, the President commended Dr. Elumelu for her outstanding achievements and numerous recognitions, highlighting her lifelong commitment to saving lives and empowering women and children.
President Tinubu noted Dr. Elumelu’s leadership in advancing access to quality healthcare across Nigeria and Africa, particularly through her work at Avon Healthcare Limited and Avon Medical Practice.
He also recalled her service as a Private Sector Champion for Immunization in Africa with Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance, where she helped reach over 10 million unimmunized children on the continent.
The President praised Dr. Elumelu’s philanthropic leadership and her role in empowering Nigerians with entrepreneurial skills and opportunities through The Tony Elumelu Foundation, even as he prayed that God would grant her more years of good health, abundant blessings, and continued success in her noble service to humanity.
