Immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON, has felicitated Muslims in Nigeria and beyond on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a statement on Friday, June 6, 2025, Elumelu emphasised the significance of the occasion, which commemorates Abraham’s unwavering faith and obedience to God.
Elumelu further emphasized the importance of selflessness, love and devotion to God, urging Muslims and Nigerians in general to imbibe the spirit of humility and patriotism that Eid-el-Kabir embodies.
Elumelu called on leaders in all sectors to strive towards building a more just, equitable society, where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
While praying that the lessons of Eid-el-Kabir would guide Nigerians in their pursuit of a better country, the former Minority Leader wished Muslims a joyous and blessed Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
