He expressed appreciation for Nigerians’ faith, patience, and perseverance, assuring that the toughest days are behind the nation.
According to Tinubu, key economic indicators are now trending positively, and the benefits of these reforms will soon be felt by all.
Tinubu highlighted that the ultimate goal of these reforms is to transform lives and set Nigeria on a path to sustainable development, even as he emphasized the administration’s commitment to acting in the nation’s best interest and ensuring that gains translate into improved lives for citizens.
The President also used the occasion to call for unity and compassion, reminding Nigerians that Eid-el-Kabir emphasizes love, kindness, and generosity for all, regardless of faith or background.
He expressed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the recent flooding in Mokwa, Niger State, and appealed for support to bring relief to the affected communities.
While praying that the virtues of perseverance, sacrifice, loyalty, faith, and shared humanity would bind the nation closer together, Tinubu called for prayers for leaders, front-line officers, and those in need, and wished Nigerians a joyous and blessed Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
