Renowned Delta political leader and member of the State Advisory and Elders Council, Chief Nkem Okwuofu (Agunwanyi), has felicitated the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, on the occasion of his third anniversary in office, describing his administration as outstanding and transformational.
In a congratulatory message on Friday, Chief Okwuofu lauded Governor Oborevwori for what she described as three years of purposeful leadership under the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda, noting that the Governor’s commitment to the welfare of the people has continued to yield positive results across the state.
The respected political figure said the Oborevwori administration has distinguished itself through massive infrastructural development, strategic investments in human capital, youth and women empowerment programmes, improved healthcare delivery, educational advancement and sustained peace-building efforts across the three senatorial districts of the state.
According to her, the governor’s people-oriented policies and pragmatic approach to governance have significantly enhanced socio-economic growth and strengthened public confidence in government.
Chief Okwuofu noted that within a relatively short period, Governor Oborevwori has demonstrated uncommon dedication to the progress of Delta State, adding that his administration’s developmental strides have positively impacted communities and improved the quality of life of Deltans.
She stated that the governor’s emphasis on accountability, broad-based participation, and service delivery has further consolidated Delta State’s position as one of the leading states in the country in terms of development and governance.
“Your Excellency, as you mark this important anniversary of three years in office, Deltans have every reason to celebrate your achievements and the positive transformation taking place across our dear state.
“Your dynamic leadership, commitment to good governance and determination to advance the welfare of our people have continued to inspire confidence and hope for a greater Delta.
“On behalf of my family, I heartily congratulate you on your third anniversary in office and pray that Almighty God will continue to grant you wisdom, strength, sound health and divine guidance as you continue to pilot the affairs of our beloved state to even greater heights,” Okwuofu stated.
She expressed confidence that the governor would record even more outstanding accomplishments in the years ahead and urged Deltans to continue supporting the administration in its quest to build a stronger, more prosperous and united Delta State.
