The Director-General of the Rt. Hon. Ndudi Godwin Elumelu Campaign Council, Dr. Darlington Nnamdi Ijeh, has called on the people of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency to support the candidacy of Rt. Hon. Ndudi Godwin Elumelu in the 2027 House of Representatives election, describing him as an experienced legislator with the capacity to deliver effective, inclusive and result-oriented representation.
Ijeh made the appeal in a statement urging the people across the 58 communities and 42 wards that make up the Federal Constituency to entrust their mandate to Elumelu, stressing that his previous experience in the National Assembly, including his service as a principal officer of the House of Representatives, has equipped him with the knowledge, exposure and legislative capacity required to effectively represent the constituency.
According to him, Aniocha/Oshimili deserves representation anchored on service, inclusion, development and tangible dividends of democracy capable of positively impacting the lives of the people across the constituency.
He said the Federal Constituency needs a representative who would confidently articulate the collective interests and aspirations of the people at the federal level, attract meaningful development projects and interventions, and ensure equitable attention to communities and wards across Aniocha/Oshimili.
Ijeh noted that Elumelu’s previous tenure in the House of Representatives demonstrated his capacity for legislative representation and constituency development, adding that his experience, understanding of the constituency and familiarity with the workings of the National Assembly give him a strong advantage in providing even more effective representation.
“This is not about one community or one group. It is about all of us and ensuring that the farmer, trader, student, artisan, business owner, youth, woman and elderly person in every part of Aniocha/Oshimili feels the impact of effective representation,” he said.
The Campaign Council Director-General expressed confidence that purposeful representation under Elumelu would position the constituency to attract increased federal interventions in critical areas, including infrastructure, empowerment, employment, education and other development programmes capable of improving the quality of life of the people.
He therefore urged the electorate to support a leadership that understands the aspirations and challenges of the people and possesses the experience, capacity and determination to translate their mandate into meaningful development.
“Let us choose representation that works. Let us choose inclusion. Let us choose development. Let us choose a voice that understands our people,” Ijeh said.
He maintained that achieving greater dividends of democracy across the 58 communities and 42 wards would require collective support, unity of purpose and a shared vision for the future of the Federal Constituency.
Ijeh consequently urged the people of Aniocha/Oshimili to unite behind Elumelu’s candidacy, stressing that his experience and preparedness make him well positioned to return to the National Assembly and provide the effective representation the constituency deserves.
“Rt. Hon. Ndudi Godwin Elumelu is experienced, prepared and ready to serve again,” he said.
