The Anioma-Delta Baptist Conference, will this week Commence activities making its 10th Anniversary Celebrations
Anioma-Delta Baptist Conference, member of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, was created 10 years ago from the defunct Delta Baptist Conference.
In a statement on Sunday, February 11, 2024 by the Spokesperson of the Conference, Deacon Chijioke Williams Ugbolue, the Conference said the anniversary celebration will start on Thursday, February 15 with its 10th Annual Session and ends on Sunday, February 18th.
The Annual Session with the Theme, “Kingdom People for Kingdom Solidarity,” is scheduled to be held at the Unity Baptist Church, Alihame, Agbor in Ika South Local Government Area, Delta State.
Conference President and Spiritual Leader, Anioma-Delta Baptist Conference, His Lordship, Rev’d Dr. Paul Friday Anyasi, will be leading the Conference Chairman, Rev’d Dr. Monday Opone and some other highly anointed Baptist Clergymen, to minister at the Conference-In-Session.
The weeklong event, which starts by 9 am daily, will also have various organs of the Conference that includes; the Pastor’s Fellowship, Deacon’s Fellowship, Men’s Missionary Union(MMU) Women Missionary Union(WMU) and Youth Fellowship, having their organisational meetings as well as Conference Business session between that Thursday, February 15th and Friday, February 16th.
According to the statement, Saturday, February 17, 2024 has been specially fixed for the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Conference, with Baptist Girls High School, Alihame slated as the venue for the Special 10th Anniversary celebration Service.
The Anniversary Celebration Service tagged, “Celebration of Overflowing Grace,” will also have the Conference President and Spiritual Leader, the Rev’d Dr. Paul Anyasi leading the Conference, in appreciating the Lord God Almighty for how far He has led the Conference for ten years.
The Moderator, Messiah Baptist Association and Pastor-in-Charge of Grace Baptist Church, Okpanam, in Oshimili North Local Government Area of the State, Rev. Dr. Godspower Utih Dike is also billed to minister at the Special Celebration Service.
Top Government officials, and other very important personalities within and outside the State are expected to join the Conference at the Anniversary Celebration Service which has been slated to commence by 10 in the morning of that Saturday
The Conference in the statement, extended invitations to the general public to the Annual Session as well as the Anniversary Celebration Service that will feature consecrated praise and worship by the Anioma-Delta Baptist Conference Mass Choir amongst other Holy Spirit filled features, saying that the gathering promises to be spiritually enriching and revival inspiring.
