It was a unique atmosphere of miracles on Monday 5th April, 2021 when members of the Anioma Delta Baptist Conference, gathered for the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ in a Worship Encounter.
The event which is an annual event with the Theme, Victory By The Blood, was held at the New Era Baptist Church Agbor and was presided over by the President and Spiritual Leader of the Conference, Rev. Dr. Paul Anyasi.
It was attended by the Chairman of the Conference, Rev. Monday Opone, the vice, Rev. Johnbull Atamewhan, the Secretary, Dn. Ben Olukume, other officials of the Conference as well as Moderators of the various Associations who led their members to the highly anointed event.
The Anioma Delta Baptist Conference Mass Choir led by Pastor Mrs Ewiwilem and the Guest Ministers led the entire congregation, made of over 600 delegates drawn from the various local Baptist Churches within Delta North Senatorial District in Delta State, to a glorious hour of corporate worship and praise to God Almighty.
Gods unique glory was practically drawn down when Blessing Eliis Okoro, a renowned Worship and Praise leader, with her husband at the keyboard, took over the stage.
It was sustained with the entering-in of Miss Truth, the highly anointed saxophonist who displayed uncommon talent in worship and praise with the saxophone.
When it was time for the message, it was given by a gospel Music Minister, Dn Psalmist Idehen who laced his message titled, Victory of the Blood of Jesus, with worship and praise.
Dn. Idehen’s message was indeed a soul provoking, searching and warming one, which led to many persons having practical personal encounter with the risen Christ at the event.
Dn. Idehen in his message exposed the congregation to the mysteries inherent in the Blood of Jesus Christ and said that the Blood of Jesus is the prerequisite for the life existence of Christians.
“When Jesus Christ died, he took care of every sacrifice, and his death is for all mankind. When he died, he purchased life for us.
“The Blood of Jesus Christ is the receipt for life, it is the receipt for everything. When disease and sickness comes, you show the Blood, when negative circumstance come, show the Blood.
“There is no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus. We don’t operate the same system with the world, we are of the light and we operate in light. The more they chase us, the more we grow.
“As long as we are alive, our lives are under serious attack, but we have the Blood of Jesus.
“God has given us power and nothing shall by any means harm us. It is by the Blood of Jesus that we lived. The Blood of Jesus gave us power and provision,” the highly anointed God’s Minister stated, even as he went further to affirm that practical Christianity is possible through the Blood of Jesus.
He shared amazing testimonies of the mercies and healing powers of the Blood of Jesus which led to miraculous deliverance at the program.
The worship encounter was concluded on a glorious note as Rev. Gweke Ikoge, under the unctions of the Holy Spirit exposed and saturated the entire arena with the uncommon power of God in a consecrated higher worship and praise to God for victory given to humanity through the Blood of Jesus Christ.
Highlights included, drama in music presentation by the ICON and prayer section led by the Vice Chairman of the Conference, Rev. Johnbull Atamewhan.
In his closing remarks, the President and Spiritual leader of the Anioma Delta Baptist Conference, Rev. Dr. Paul Anyasi expressed his appreciation to God Almighty for the tremendous success of the program and said that the event could not hold last year as a result of the lockdown occasioned by the global Covid-19 pandemic.
While commending the 2021 Anioma Worship Encounter Planning Committee, the Conference President assured of a bigger and better outing next year and predicted that more persons will be ready and willing to be part of the program.
