Delta NULGE Re-Elects Ziko Okwudi As State President

High Comrade Ziko Osita Okwudi has been re-elected as the State President of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee, NULGE, Delta State.

He will pilot the affairs of the Union for the next 4 years.

Comrade Okwudi was re-elected unopposed on Wednesday August 9, 2023 at the 8th quadrennial delegate conference of the Union held at the Labour House, Asaba, the Delta State Capital.

Other Executives returned unopposed at the delegate conference included; Comrade Ogberetitinor Obatarhe; Deputy State President, Comrade Uwasosayemi Kingsley; Treasurer, Comrade Stanley Atugbe; PRO, and Comrade Charles Erhue; Welfare officer.

Also elected are Comrade Victory Asia, Comrade Onovwotu Alfred, Comrade Amgbare Daniel, Comrade Cyril Ozegbe, Comrade Sophia Omoregbe, and Comrade Areh Juliet.

The National President of NULGE, High Comrade Olatunji Ambali who was at the gathering, commended members of the union for their peaceful disposition during the election and urged the newly elected executive members to work for the interest of the Union.

In his acceptance speech, the newly re-elected State President of NULGE, Delta State, High Comrade Ziko Osita Okwudi appreciated the delegates for the confidence reposed in him and promised to carry everyone along in the discharge of his duties, even as he commended the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for his support to the Union.

Highlight of the event was the swearing in of the new Executives by the National President of NULGE, High Comrade Olatunji Ambali.
