Delta PDP LGA Campaign: Okwuofu Applauds Aniocha North for According Okowa, Wife, Oborevwori, PDP Leaders, Rousing Reception, Urges Them To Arm Themselves With PVCs

A Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Chief Nkem Okwuofu (Agunwanyi), has applauded the People of Aniocha North for the rousing reception accorded the Vice Presidential candidate of the Party and Governor of Delta, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and the wife, Dame Edith Okowa when he led the State Campaign Council to the area on a mega rally held on Tuesday at Issele-Uku

Okwuofu in a statement on Thursday January 5, 2023 noted the massive crowd and said the coming together of the leaders of the party across the various wards within the area as one formidable entity for the purpose of the event, brought about the uncommon success recorded at the rally, which also had the Governorship Candidate of the Party in the State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and the wife as well as the Deputy Governorship candidate, Chief Monday Onyeme in attendance.

Chief Okwuofu also known as Permanent Mother of Government (PMOG), further noted the display of love and preference by the Youths and various support groups in the local Government area, for the PDP, and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, vice presidential candidates; Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, Governorship candidate; Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Deputy Governorship candidate; Chief Monday Onyeme, Delta North Senatorial candidate; Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko, House of Representatives candidate for Aniocha Oshimili Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu and House of Assembly Candidate for Aniocha North State Constituency; Hon. Engr. Emeke Nwaobi, describing their role throughout the period the campaign lasted as captivating, and a clear demonstration of acceptance for the PDP and its candidates.

While expressing her gratitude above all, to the Lord God Almighty for the huge success recorded at the Local Government Area campaign rally, Chief Okwuofu who is the Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, was hopeful the party supporters would as usual convert their love, preference and acceptance of the party to huge votes come February and March this year, even as she appealed to those who have not collected their Permanent Voters Card not to delay anymore, but go to the local government area INEC office in Issele-Uku, to collect their PVCs, saying the collection of the PVC and using it to vote for PDP will be the highest display of love, preference and acceptance.

She therefore called on the party leaders in the various communities not to relent in their efforts towards mobilizing and sensitizing the people at the grassroots towards the collection of their PVC before the expiration date.
