The Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) has felicitated the Delta State Commissioner for Works (Rural) and Public Information, Hon. Charles Aniagwu, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as an articulate, knowledgeable, accessible and media-friendly public servant.
The Forum conveyed its goodwill in a congratulatory letter addressed to the Commissioner and signed by its Chairman and Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli and Mr. Shedrack Onitsha, respectively.
DOPF said Aniagwu had distinguished himself in public service through his commitment to the development of Delta State and his appreciation of the strategic role of effective communication in governance.
The Forum commended his ability to articulate government policies and programmes, provide timely clarification on issues of public interest and engage relevant stakeholders in ways that promote understanding and informed public discourse.
It also praised the Commissioner for maintaining a cordial, professional and mutually respectful relationship with the media, particularly online publishers across the state.
According to the Forum, Aniagwu’s accessibility and readiness to engage journalists have contributed significantly to constructive dialogue between the government and the media, while his recognition of online journalism as an increasingly influential platform for public enlightenment has further strengthened the relationship.
DOPF expressed particular appreciation for the Commissioner’s relationship with the Forum and its members, noting that his consistent engagement with online publishers had helped foster an atmosphere of dialogue, mutual respect and constructive partnership between the online media community and the Delta State Government.
The Forum wished Aniagwu continued good health, greater wisdom, renewed strength and many more years of impactful and fruitful service to Delta State and humanity.
It further prayed that God would continue to bless him and his family, while granting him greater opportunities, strength and fulfilment in his service to the state and the nation.
