The immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives and APC flag bearer for Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON, has congratulated Muslims across Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency on the auspicious occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, urging them to continue to uphold the virtues of peace, sacrifice, love and generosity.
Elumelu, in his Eid-el-Kabir message, called on the Muslim faithful and the people of the Federal Constituency to join hands with the Federal and Delta State Governments as they intensify efforts towards ensuring security of lives and property across the country.
The former Minority Leader noted that Eid-el-Kabir symbolizes obedience, sacrifice and total submission to the will of God, stressing that Nigerians must imbibe such virtues for the unity, peace and progress of the nation.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, I urge our Muslim brothers and sisters to continue to promote peace, love, sacrifice and generosity, which remain the core values of the festival,” Elumelu stated.
He assured that, as a renowned politician and federal legislator, he would continue to collaborate with relevant government agencies and stakeholders to improve the welfare and living conditions of Muslims and all residents of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency.
Elumelu also commended Muslim communities across the Federal Constituency for their resourcefulness, peaceful disposition and contributions to societal growth and development.
He further urged them to remain steadfast in prayers for sustained peace, security and unity in Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Delta State and Nigeria as a whole.
The APC flag bearer congratulated the Muslim faithful on the celebration and wished them a peaceful and memorable Eid-el-Kabir festivity.
