Fidel Onwodi Appreciates God In Special Thanksgiving Mass …As Aniocha North Leaders, People Join Him In Celebration.

It was atmosphere of thanksgiving on Sunday January 2, 2022 at Asaba when a renowned businessman and Chairman/CEO,FEON Engineering Ltd and Duke Marine Services Ltd, Lagos, Engr Fidel Onwodi led friends, business and political associates as well as family members to appreciate the Lord God Almighty in a special thanksgiving mass.

The Mass held at St. Bridig’s Catholic Church, Asaba, was celebrated to show gratitude to God for sustaining the life of Engr. Fidel Onwodi after he survived the sickness that took him to the hospital in the last quarter of last year.

The Mass was officiated by the Parish Priest of the Catholic Church, Rv. Fr. Uche who led parishioners to pray and appreciated the Lord God Almighty for delivering Engr. Onwodi, known for his love for the people.

Personalities from Lagos, Abuja and the Delta State, which included notable leaders and people of Aniocha North, the home Local Government Area of Engr. Fidel Onwodi was with him at the special thanksgiving service.

Among the leaders included; the Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Political Matters, Chief Emma Eboh, the Former Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly and presently the Executive Assistant to the State Governor on Legal Matters, Hon. Chief Kress Njeokwuemene and the wife, the Chairman, Delta State Waste Management Board, Chief Emma Chinye and the wife, the representative of Delta State PDP in the South South Executive Committee of the Party,  Deacon Chuks Nwaebune, two Former Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government and presently Executive Assistants to the State Governor on Political Matters and Local Government Affairs, Hon. Chief Cal Nwawolo and Hon. Chief Jaunty Okwudi respectively.

The Chairman, Delta State Investment Board, Mr. Paul Nmah, the Former Chairman of Aniocha North, Hon. Afam Ayasi, a renowned businessman and politician, Chief Valentin Okafor, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Project Monitoring, Chief Austin Ngulu Modungwo, the Senior Special Assistant to the State Governor on oil and gas, Engr. John Emeyazia, Special Assistant to a renowned Political Leader in the State, Chief Nkem Okwuofu, Mr. Alex Ajumuka, Chief Mrs. Cynthia-Nwaobi Udeh, Barr. Anthony Nwaokwu, Chief Roy Umunna, Special Assistant to the State Governor on Women Development, Ms. Ebele Sedenu, Hon. Emma Eboh Junior and Hon. Emma Ofili, the Councillor ward 15, Issele-Mkpitime as well as the Publisher of Cshowcasenews.com, Deacon Chijioke Williams Ugbolue were also among some of the dignitaries that graced the occasion.

The guests were later treated to a lavished reception at Engr. Fidel Onwodi’s palatial residence in Asaba where all manner of food and choice drinks were saved under a convivial ambiance with classical and contemporary music profusely supplied.

In his remarks at the reception, Chief Emma Eboh said that it was worthy, coming to join Engr. Fidel Onwodi gave God all the glory for what he has done for him, describing him as an unassuming and humble personality, who has continued to display love and passion for the people.

The Political leader, noted God in his Mercy delivered Engr. Onwodi from the shackles of death for a reason, saying that every year has its own blessing, rain, Challenges, improvement, and opening of God’s destinies for peoples’ lives to blossom.

Chief Eboh emphasized that the illness that took Engr. Fidel Onwodi to the hospital, in the later part of 2021, was to expose, the more, the glory of God in his live in 2022 and said that without sickness and other forms of challengers, one cannot grow and come out to become what God has destined the person to be for the benefit of humanity.

“God has helped you to grow into another new year, where in his mercy, he alone will manifest what he has in stock for you in 2022,” he stated.

He commended notable leaders and people of Aniocha North that joined the cosmopolitan personality, Engr. Fidel Onwodi, to appreciate the Lord God Almighty and said that it was an attestation of the uncommon love they have for him and what he represents.

Chief Eboh particularly appreciated the people of Issele-Mkpitime, the home town of Fidel Onwodi, for being their brother’s keeper and joining in their numbers in such an occasion, noting that they demonstrated determination, resolve, unity and capacity, to the extent, that the people of Aniocha North will not look back from Issele-Mkpitime when searching for another credible massager to be sent on an errand this year.

“I must tell you that the people of Issele-Mkpitime have come again to tell us by their actions, that they are capable and that they can be trusted to be sent anytime we want them.

“Let me inform you today that Issele-Mkpitime is at the centre of Aniocha North and I am most delighted to see great people of Aniocha North from all shields of opinion to grace this occasion.

“For my brother and Son, Fidel Onwodi, you have made yourself known, you have positively exposed yourself by your positive actions and I want to let you know that you can never be allowed to go into hiding or hide from us anymore. You have been discovered and you have to be used for the benefit of the people to the glory of the Lord God Almighty,” Chief Eboh assured.

While praying for Engr. Onwodi, Chief Eboh prayed for the sustenance of the prevailing peace and unity in Aniocha North and said that the Local Government area will no longer experience any form of rancor in the year 2022.

In his own commendation, Chief Barrister Krees Njiokwuemeni,noted for his uncommon gift of the gabs, described Engr. Fidel Onwodi as an accomplished young man from a very good home in Issele-Mkpitime, saying that he has remained happy seeing him mixing with the right kind of people that have faith in the Aniocha North project.

He appreciated the love and grace of God upon his life and said that his healing from that sickness that took him to the hospital was for the name of the Lord God to be glorified and for him to do more for God and the people.

Chief Njiokwuemeni urged him not to relent in his love for the people and noted that humility which has been an endearing virtue that Engr, Onwodi is known for, remains the critical element that is needed to take and sustain him at the top.

“Now that you have come into the arena, my prayer is that it will be well with you and when success comes your way, I urge you to remain in the arena and continue to showcase the man you are; a man of noble character and humility,” he advised.

The well known political leader, further urged him to remain steadfast in his aspiration, reminding him that everybody is needed to bring about the realization of his political ambition, even as he admonished him to stand low with a view to conquering.

In a chat with Cshowcasenews.com, Engr. Fidel Onwodi, expressed his joy and happiness and said it was God and him alone that delivered him from the terrible sickness that attacked his body last year, stressing that it was not the intention of the enemy for him to see the year 2022, considering the intensity of the attack.

The Young and accomplished businessman, known for his philanthropy, said that having considered the loving kindness of the Lord God Almighty, shown on him, by using the doctors and nurses to bring him back on his feet again, he had no option than to go to God with his friends, well-wishers, family members ,and  associates to show his gratitude.

He commended the large crowd of people, particularly, leaders and people of Aniocha North, that graced the occasion and said that it was an absolute display of love and concern for him.

“I would like to say a very big thank you to each and every one of them, for making time to celebrate life with me. I pray that happiness will never cease in their homes and the love of God Almighty planted in their homes will continue to flourish like a tree planted by the riverside.

“God Almighty will send each and every one of them, help a million times, when they need one and He will grant all of our heart desires this year and give us more reason to celebrate in Jesus name,” Engr. Fidel Onwodi prayed.
