The funeral rites for late Sir Marcel Mekowuhe Nwaobi, KSM, K of C, will commence on Thursday 17th December, 2020 with Vigil Mass.
According to the funeral arrangement released by the Family, the Vigil Mass will hold at Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi’s residence, near unity hall, along Ubulu-Okiti Road, Issele-Uku, in Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State at 5 pm prompt.
On Friday 18th December, 2020, there will be a Funeral Mass for the repose of the soul of late Sir Marcel Nwaobi at St Paul’s Catholic Cathedral, Issele-Uku in Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State, beginning at 11 in the morning while entertainment of Guests will follow immediately after the Mass, at Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi’s residence, near unity hall, along Ubulu-Okiti Road, Issele-Uku.
The funeral arrangement according to the family, will be concluded on Sunday 20th December, 2020, with a Thanksgiving Mass in Honour of late Sir Marcel Nwaobi at St. Paul’s Catholic Cathedral, Issele-Uku at 9.00 am prompt.
Late Sir Marcel Nwaobi, a renowned Educationist and devout Christian of the Catholic faith, transited to eternal glory on Sunday 27th August, 2020 after a brief illness at the glorious age of 87 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife, five children among whom is the Member representing Aniocha North State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Emeka Emmanuel Nwaobi, Grandchildren, In-laws as well as numerous relatives.
