Okwuofu Congratulates Okowa On Nomination, Presidential Approval For National Honours Award

Chairman, Delta State Civil Service Commission and renowned leader in Delta State, Chief Nkem Okwuofu, has congratulated the State Governor and the PDP Vice Presidential Candidate for the 2023 Presidential election, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on his nomination and approval for the Prestigious National Honour awards by President Mohammedu Buhari.

In a statement on Monday October 3, 2023, Chief Okwuofu described the nomination and approval of the Governor for the National Honour award as another prove of his national acceptance and recognition of his contributions to national growth, peace and unity.

She commended President Buhari for the Presidential approval and said that Senator Okowa has remained a National figure who has added immense value to the socio economic and political evolution of the country, Nigeria.

Okwuofu said that Delta State will continue to be grateful to God for giving them Senator Okowa as their Governor, noting that his achievements as the State Governor and one time Member of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria where he represented the State, has remained unprecedented and a great source of joy and pride to the people of Delta State.

“You Excellency, this is a great National Honour and it gladdens our hearts and heighten our joy in such a time like this.

“On behalf of the good People of our dear State, I sincerely rejoice and felicitate your Excellency on this Presidential approval for you to be conferred with the Prestigious National Honour, in the rank of CON. Honestly it is an Honour well deserved and we are greatly proud of you and what God has used you to accomplish for the betterment of our beloved State, Delta and Father Land, Nigeria.

“We salute the President, His Excellency, President Mohammedu Buhari GCFR, for this National Honour, we pray God to continue to give you the enablement and all that is needed for greater services to your father land,” Chief Nkem Okwuofu prayed.
