Ndudi Elumelu has expressed his appreciation to the people of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Delta State for their unflinching love for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP during the Party’s campaign rally hosted in the four local Government areas within the Federal Constituency.

Elumelu spoke in an interview with Journalists on Tuesday January 3, 2023 at the conclusion of the State PDP Local Government area campaign rally for Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency at Issele-Uku, headquarters of Aniocha North Local Government Area.

Elumelu who was formally presented to the people as the candidate of the Party for House of Representatives for Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency by the State Party Chairman, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso along with the Delta North Senatorial Candidate of the Party, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko and State House of Assembly candidates for Aniocha North and South State constituencies, Hon. Engr. Emeke Nwaobi, and Hon. Isaac Anwuzia, Barr. Bridget Anyafulu for Oshimili South and Barr. Frank Esenwa  for Oshimili South respectively, said the tumultuous crowd of  people that came out to accord the State Governor and the Vice-presidential Candidate of the Party, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, the State Governorship Candidate; Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, his deputy, Chief Monday Onyeme, the State Chairman of the Party, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso and leaders of the party in the State, a rousing reception, was a clear statement that the Federal Constituency remains the home base for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

He maintained that the overwhelming crowd of PDP faithful and supporters at Oshimili North and South on Thursday December 29 and Aniocha North and South on Tuesday January 3 is a pointer that the Party will record overwhelming victory in the federal constituency in all elections in February 25th and March 11, noting the organic nature of the crowd was a true reflection of the people’s preference for the Party.

“What you are seeing today here in Issele-Uku in Aniocha North and the one we witnessed at Ogwashi-Uku in Aniocha South also today, coupled with the massive crowd of our supporters at Akwukwu-Igbo in Oshimili North and Asaba, Oshimili South when we visited in December 29 last year, is obvious that my people are for the PDP, they are grateful to the PDP and at the same time making a great statement to continue to support the party towards victory in the next elections.

“They have done it before, you don’t need a soothsayer to tell you that,  with this unflinching love that is being demonstrated for us in the four local Government areas, they will do it again,” the Minority Leader said, even as he urged the People not to relent in their determination to vote all the candidates of the party, and said that a vote for the PDP 5/5 is a vote to reset Nigeria and rescue the Nation from the misrule of the incompetent, insensitive and very corrupt All Progressive Congress (APC) at the center.

“Aniocha/Oshimili for sure is going to join forces with the rest of the state to deliver over a million votes for the PDP in the Presidential election in February while delivering all candidates of the Party in all the elections by the grace and mercy of God,” Elumelu assured.
