The Aniocha North Local Government has received a donation of 3000 bags of 10 kg rice from a renowned Politician and Philanthropist, Chief Dumebi Kachikwu.
Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye, Executive Chairman of the Local Government, on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 received the bags of rice on behalf of the Local Government at the Council’s Secretariat, Issele-Uku
Hon. Chinye expressed his administration’s gratitude to Chief Kachikwu, noting that the gesture was part of a series of support his administration has received from him, including donations of vehicles, motorcycles, and an ambulance.
According to the Executive Chairman, the rice will be distributed to indigent people in all 18 communities of Aniocha North, with 1000 bags allocated each month starting from August, in line with the donor’s directives.

In a separate development, Hon. Bazim Chinye’s administration has provided hospital equipment worth millions of Naira to the Issele Uku and Onicha Olona Primary Health Care Centers.
The equipment was delivered to the Centres on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, and was personally supervised by the Executive Chairman.
Handing over the items to the Matrons, the Council boss said the hospital equipment is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare services in these centres.
Hon. Chinye maintained that the provision of the items is part of his administration’s “MORE GAINS with RENEWED HOPE” mantra, which aims to attract and provide benefits to the people of Aniocha North.

He commended the medical workers at the centres for their commitment to saving lives and assured them that his administration will continue to reward hard work.
The matrons and staff of both health centers were overjoyed by the gesture, expressing their appreciation through song and dance, and praying for the Executive Chairman’s continued success. They pledged to put the equipment into proper use for the benefit of the residents.
The vision to rebuild Aniocha North administration continues to gain momentum, with the Executive Chairman’s efforts yielding positive results for the residents.
