Okwuofu further revealed that a high-powered delegation of six prominent APC leaders, drawn from Oshimili South, Oshimili North, and Aniocha South, had earlier visited her in Asaba to affirm the unanimous backing of the leaders in the Local Government Areas for Elumelu’s candidacy.

She noted that the consensus across the three local government areas reflects widespread confidence in Elumelu’s leadership and performance while in office.

Okwuofu also conveyed the appreciation of Aniocha North leaders to their counterparts in other parts of the constituency for recognizing Elumelu as a worthy candidate for the position. She expressed optimism that his return to the National Assembly would further advance development across the constituency.
