The family of Mrs. Felicia Oritselumewor Arenyeka has announced her passing at the age of 91, describing her death as a “glorious home call.”
In a statement issued on behalf of the family by Elder Andrew Arenyeka, the matriarch was said to have died peacefully on April 24, 2026, after a life marked by strength, wisdom, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family and community.
Mrs. Arenyeka is survived by several children, including the Delta State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Solomon Arenyeka, as well as Barrister Victor Arenyeka, Director of Legal Services at the Niger Delta Development Commission, alongside other accomplished children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family members.
The family noted that she lived a remarkable and impactful life, earning the admiration of all who came in contact with her.
They also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support received since her passing, adding that funeral arrangements would be announced in due course.
The late matriarch’s death marks the end of an era for the Arenyeka family and those who knew her, as tributes continue to pour in from associates, friends, and well-wishers.
