2027: Okwuofu Commends Elumelu’s Leadership, Grassroots Commitment …Urges Constituents To Reward Performance

A prominent political leader in Delta State and member of the State Advisory and Elders Council, Chief Nkem Okwuofu (Agunwanyi), has commended the Minority Leader of the 9th House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON, for what he described as his exemplary leadership, humility, and unwavering commitment to the people of the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency.

Chief Okwuofu, in a statement made available to cshowcasenews.com, an online Newspaper, said Elumelu’s record of service and people-oriented leadership had distinguished him as one of the most impactful political figures in Delta State.

According to the elder stateswoman, the former Minority Leader has demonstrated an uncommon level of dedication to the welfare and development of his constituents, noting that his achievements compare favourably with those of some state governments.

“If truth must be told, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu has done better than some state governors. He has proven himself to be a valuable asset to our people, and we must not take his contributions for granted,” Okwuofu stated.

He urged constituents across Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency to consolidate on Elumelu’s achievements by translating their appreciation into political support, stressing that the lawmaker’s track record deserved continued encouragement and endorsement.

“We need to prayerfully translate everything he has done into votes and complete what God has prepared for him and for us as a people,” he said.

Chief Okwuofu particularly praised Elumelu’s accessibility and close relationship with his constituents, describing him as a leader who remains deeply connected to his roots despite his social and political status in the society.

According to him, Elumelu spends considerable time interacting with his people and has consistently maintained his residence in Onicha-Uku, his hometown, rather than distancing himself from the community.

“Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu is one man who spends so much time with his constituents. No matter how late he finishes his day’s work, he returns home to Onicha-Uku.

“That demonstrates the value he places on his people and his community,” he said.

The APC chieftain further described Elumelu as a disciplined family man, a loving husband, and a responsible father whose personal values have positively influenced his public service.

“He is a very disciplined man with a loving family, a great husband and father. He has remained humble despite his accomplishments, and that is one of the qualities that continue to endear him to the people,” Okwuofu added.

Expressing confidence in Elumelu’s political future, the elder stateswoman said the former Minority Leader had earned the trust and confidence of the people through years of dedicated service and would not disappoint those who continue to support him.

“He is a pride to us. He will neither disgrace nor disappoint us. We are confident that God will grant him victory, and to God alone shall be all the glory,” he said.

Chief Okwuofu’s remarks add to the growing endorsements trailing Elumelu’s emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency seat ahead of the 2027 general elections.
