The Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Bazim Chinye, has received commendation for the remarkable developmental strides recorded by his administration over the past two years, with the Delta State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, attributing the council’s achievements to the improved fiscal environment created by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reforms.
Rt. Hon. Solomon gave the commendation on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, when he led officials of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Delta State, to a sensitization and town hall meeting held at the Comrade Collins Ogwugwua NULGE Event Centre within the Aniocha North Local Government Council Secretariat, Issele-Uku.
He described Hon. Chinye as a people-oriented leader whose administration has continued to deliver impactful projects across communities in the local government Area, noting that the Chairman has successfully executed more than 44 people-centred projects within two years in office.
According to him, the ongoing infrastructural renewal and human capital development across Delta State and its local government areas have been made possible by the enhanced financial resources accruing to states and local governments following the economic and fiscal reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He stated that the implementation of local government autonomy, increased statutory allocations and other fiscal policies of the Federal Government have strengthened grassroots governance, enabling council chairmen, including Hon. Chinye, to undertake projects that directly improve the lives of the people.
Rt. Hon. Solomon therefore urged residents of Aniocha North to sustain their support for President Tinubu and candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections, stressing that continuity would consolidate the gains already being witnessed across the country.
He also commended Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, for his developmental achievements, saying the governor’s prudent management of resources and cordial working relationship with the Federal Government have translated into accelerated development across the state.
The former lawmaker highlighted several policy initiatives of the Tinubu administration, including the foreign exchange reforms, fiscal restructuring and the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which he said have expanded access to higher education for indigent students while laying a stronger foundation for long-term economic growth.
Earlier in his remarks, the Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government and Local Government Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Hon. Emmanuel Bazim Chinye, said the council had continued to benefit from the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the MORE Agenda with Renewed Hope of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
Hon. Chinye reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to sustaining people-centred development through quality infrastructure, improved social services and programmes that directly impact the welfare of residents.
He assured that the leadership and people of Aniocha North would continue to mobilise support for the ideals of the Renewed Hope Agenda while working towards delivering overwhelming victories for all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
Also speaking at the event were the Deputy State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for Delta North Senatorial District; Chief Patrick Ukah, Chief Nkem Okwuofu, Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, Dr. Daniel Odinigwe Odigie, the APC Chairman in Aniocha North; Sir Matthew Chinye and Prince Uzoma Idabor.
They collectively called for sustained support for President Tinubu, describing his administration’s reforms as critical to Nigeria’s economic recovery and national development.
The high point of the visit was the commissioning of the Aniocha North Local Government Office of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors by the Delta State Coordinator of the organisation, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon.
The ceremony formally inaugurated the local government chapter’s operational office and underscored the group’s commitment to strengthening grassroots mobilisation, civic engagement and public support for the Renewed Hope Agenda across Aniocha North Local Government Area.
The town hall meeting attracted ward and unit coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, artisans, commercial motorcycle operators, market leaders, trade union representatives, non-indigenes and religious leaders from across Aniocha North Local Government Area.
